Finance & Administration
Finance & Administration provides key organizational infrastructure support for UW Facilities.
- Finance coordinates accounting and financial management functions, overseeing the operating and capital resources that support all Facilities work.
- Campus Stewardship & Capital Budget provides financial oversight of UW’s building renewal, minor works, programmatic renewal and resource conservation programs. This unit also develops and submits the annual Five-Year Capital Budget and updates to the Long-Term Capital Plan to the UW Board of Regents, as well as the Capital Budget Requests (biennial and supplemental) to the state Office of Financial Management.
- Procurement and Business Diversity works to ensure Facilities leverages its buying power to achieve procurement goals of business equity, sustainability and cost effectiveness. The Business Diversity & Equity team encourages the UW community to consider small, local and diverse businesses when sourcing and purchasing goods and services.
- Partner Resources is made up of Human Resources & Labor Relations, Payroll and Training.
- Communications develops and implements strategic messaging and marketing for all of UW Facilities and its departments.
