The University of Washington built environment is the result of more than 100 years of careful planning. Design decisions made decades ago still impact campus life, as do decisions made just a few months ago. From the short term to the long term, UW Facilities is responsible for managing the planning and design of the University’s buildings, grounds and infrastructure.
Our goal is to ensure sustainable long-term growth for the University and its mission, while enhancing the quality and utility of all UW campuses and facilities. To do this, UW Facilities staff work closely with campus and community partners.
