Campus Energy, Utilities & Operations (CEUO) provides continuous, reliable operations of building systems and the campus utilities infrastructure for the University of Washington. CUO maintains and operates critical building systems including building environmental systems and controls and central clock systems. The department also provides emergency facilities response service to the Seattle campus community, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

CEUO also maintains the Campus Utilities & Operations standard, a series of standards to be used by consultants and design-builders to inform and develop specifications, design drawings, and ultimately execution of all projects.

Campus Utilities produces steam, emergency electrical power, chilled water and compressed air for the Seattle campus.
