Campus visitors (without a NetID)

Members of the public planning an event in a UW building can request this service.

How early should I request?

Submit your request at least 2 weeks prior to your event. We cannot guarantee service for requests received less than 2 weeks prior to an event.

Cost

Rates are the same for UW affiliates and public customers. This includes hourly labor costs (NetID login required) for delivery, service, removal and disposal. To clarify, that means you’re charged for how long it takes UW Recycling staff to complete the work; the charges are not impacted by the hours our containers are at your event.

There is an additional weekend custodial service charge of $57 for events occurring between Friday afternoon and Sunday evening.

An estimate of total charges can be provided upon request.

Request the service

You will receive a copy of the request after submitting the form. If you do not receive a confirmation email within a few minutes, please try your request again.

Once you fill out the form, UW Recycling will work with you to determine the number of containers needed for your event.

UW Recycling responds to service requests within 2 business days. If you do not receive a response, please resubmit your request.
