Styrofoam Recycling Bags

UW Recycling provides bags for Styrofoam recycling – a self-service program. For large volumes, we offer two different types of clear bags:

One for Styrofoam blocks
One for packing peanuts

How Early Should I Request?

Bags are sent through campus mail and typically sent within two business days.

Cost

This service is typically free.
For self-sustaining units and/or large quantities, bags are available on a case-by case basis and the cost of the bags may be recharged.

Request Styrofoam Recycling Bags

Our form can only accept requests for up to ten (10) bags. If your department requires a larger amount, please include details in the comments section. Larger orders may be subject to a fee.

You will receive a copy of the request after submitting the form. If you do not receive a confirmation email within a few minutes, please try your request again.

UW Recycling responds to service requests within two business days. If you do not receive a response, please resubmit your request.
