Grounds Maintenance

Facilities Services operates, maintains and supports the development of quality campus grounds, utilities and building envelopes. Our gardeners develop and maintain the campus plantings while our utilities and heavy equipment team provide repair services, street painting, graffiti removal, traffic signage and campus wayfinding.

Cost

Varies. Maintenance services are state funded unless provided to an auxiliary operation, self-sustaining unit, and/or if the unit recharges for its services. Customers must also pay for requested services that exceed the preventive maintenance cycle or are beyond the routine level funded by the state.

Response Times

Emergencies are unplanned maintenance events that pose a risk to safety, property or critical operations. We respond and stabilize within one business day.

High priority situations are unplanned maintenance events that pose a risk to business operations or environments and have the potential to escalate into an emergency event. We respond and stabilize within one business day, and correct within seven business days.

Routine corrective maintenance includes repairs, replacement or restoration. We respond within four to seven business days and correct within 25 business days.

Planned work is scheduled to be completed at a designated time and date.
