Space Manager

FM:Systems is now live

FM:Systems is now the University’s official space management platform. As a reminder, completing the required training is mandatory before gaining access. If you encounter any issues during the transition, please contact uwftech@uw.edu for support.

Do you manage space for your unit? Are you responsible for ensuring people and departmental funding sources are assigned to rooms? Space Manager gives you the tools to manage spaces and allocations assigned to your organization using a consolidated database, enhanced visualizations and advanced reporting.

With Space Manager, you will be able to:

  1. Use global search tools to quickly locate buildings, rooms and floorplans by keywords.
  2. View and edit space data via tabular interfaces and interactive floorplans.
  3. Manage research allocations and data such as PI and Worktag assignments.
  4. Export floorplans as PDFs with customizable settings.
  5. Run reports for space inventory data by school or department, facility or other attributes and export the results to Excel.

Access to this service is restricted and contingent upon successful completion of assigned training modules.

Request this service

Requesting access: in your request please include the organization you wish to manage and the contact information for an individual that can approve your request. Enrollment in training is automatic after access is assigned.
