Regulated Materials provides abatement, consultation and estimating services regarding asbestos, lead and other hazardous materials for the University of Washington.

Who we are
Regulated Materials is made up of experienced team members with deep skills and the following credentials:
- AHERA Building Inspector
- AHERA Project Designer
- AHERA Management Planner (required for K-12 public schools)
- Asbestos Supervisor
- HAZWOPER – 40 hour
- NIOSH 582 – Microscopic Analysis (AIHA Certified Air Laboratory)
- Water Restoration Certification
- Lead Based Paint Firm Certification for UW (Department of Commerce)
- Lead in Construction – RRP Certification
- Lead Risk Assessor
We also coordinate with trusted outside contractors and vendors that provide these critical services:
- Term abatement contractor - abatement, demolition, water remediation, disposal
- Analytic laboratory - sampling for asbestos, lead, PCB, other heavy metals
- Water sampling laboratory - sampling for chlorine and pH
