Description
Project Description: The project work includes installation of new electric vehicle (EV) chargers and provide site protection/security enhancements including fencing/gates, access control, lighting, and camera systems to parking lot E-02 at the University of Washington Seattle campus. The parking lot is located directly northeast of the intersection of 25th Ave NE and NE 44th Street. The project location is in an area previously used as a landfill or a related buffer zone susceptible to differential settlement. The project will include below grade scope and incorporate support elements and other accommodations to provide surface stability and uniformity. Electric vehicle chargers will be of the Level 2 and Level 3 direct current fast charging type. Provisions will be provided for future expansion of additional direct current fast chargers.
Pre-Bid Site Meeting: The Project site is available for inspection by prospective bidders. A pre-bid site meeting and walk-through will be held at 1:00 PM on May 5, 2026, at the Project Site (E-02 Parking Lot) on 44th St between 25th Ave NE and Montlake Blvd NE.
