Open to UW students, faculty & staff
The ASUW Bike Shop offers a safe space for UW students, faculty, and staff to work on their bikes using the space, tools, and equipment for free. The bike shop sells new parts and provides low-cost repair and maintenance services. This program has received support from the Campus Sustainability Fund.
The bike shop maintains several reuse initiatives including the “Bone Yard”, where they collect old bike parts. These parts are free for community members. Visitors are also welcome to drop off their used bicycle innertubes, which get upcycled into wallets and bags through their partnership with Alchemy Goods.
