Description
Project Description: The project includes the following work: The scope for this project is to install additional CAAMS security access and Emergency Classroom Lockdown Devices (ECLD) to all the lecture halls and/or building doors in Kane Hall. 67 doors in total will be impacted. This includes:
- 17 new hardwired CAAMS card readers
- 23 new wireless card readers
- 11 ADA compliant auto door openers
- 16 doors added to current building monitoring system/programming
- 22 new Emergency Classroom Lockdown Devices (ECLD).
Additional work includes: any patch or painting, providing electrical power where needed, rough-in boxes, network equipment and connections, internet/wireless connectivity and programming, building penetrations/core drills required, electrified locking door hardware, all conduit, raceways, cable trays, back boxes, sleeves, and cable pathways.

Pre-Bid Site Meeting: The project site is available for inspection by prospective bidders at a pre-bid site meeting and walk-through at 12:30 - 2 p.m. on April 20, 2026, meet at Kane Hall Red Square entrance.
