The University of Washington is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified consultant & marine engineering teams to provide Phase 2 – Design and Permitting Services for the Friday Harbor Laboratories (FHL) Dock Replacement Project in San Juan County, Washington. A Phase 1 Feasibility Study and Condition Assessment confirm the need for full replacement of the existing 13,000-square-foot overwater dock structure and associated utilities, and replacement or encasing of piles. This RFQ seeks a partner to advance the project through the 30% design development and permitting phase for which the UW currently has authorized funding.
