2022: Survey results
Below are the results from the most recent survey, conducted in May 2022.
About this survey
Recent events across the nation have reminded us that we still have much work to do regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion. We all have a role to play in making progress in these areas. Training alone will not solve these issues, but it is an important part of the work that we need to do.
The executive team have tasked the Training Center with helping our organization learn and grow around these subjects. That’s a big lift, and we are not going to do it alone. We are working with the Workforce Equity Group, consultants from POD, senior leaders, and other voices from around the organization to figure out how to move forward.
And now we want to hear from you. All of you. Regularly.
The goal of this short survey is to understand how you experience UW Facilities along a number of systemic issues, including race, gender, sexuality, and more. And then we are going to send this survey again. And again. For as long as it takes. We genuinely want to know how your experiences are changing over time as we try to improve and implement more and more learnings and trainings.
We believe that, together, we can be better to each other tomorrow than we were yesterday. It will take hard work, it will at times be uncomfortable, it will probably progress slower than we want. But if you take a moment to share with us through this survey, you can help us start. Our ask is that you participate each time we send this survey, and encourage those around you to do the same. We need your voice to make sure we are heading in the right direction.
