The fully subsidized U-PASS for paid UW personnel went into effect on July 1. Get the most out of this great benefit with the following tips:
The U-PASS covers unlimited rides on local and regional buses, light rail, commuter trains, water taxis and even the Seattle Monorail. Find out more at the Transportation Services website.
You can check your U-PASS status by logging in to MyUW and selecting “Accounts” from the left-side menu. When the U-PASS membership status is set to “current,” your U-PASS benefit is activated. If your status is set to "not current," you may be in an ineligible position or in the process of changing to a new eligible position (or a new hire), and the process hasn't completed in Workday. Learn more at UWHR's U-PASS benefit page.
You may also see "not current" if you're in an eligible position, but don’t have a current Husky Card with a smart chip. You will need to contact the Husky Card Office to get a new card.
