ENGLISH COURSE WIDENS OPPORTUNITIES FOR CUSTODIANS
English in the Workplace, a course offered by the Building Services Department, helps custodians improve their English-language skills using workplace scenarios. "We didn’t have the chance to go to school back home ... But now, this time is for us to learn," said custodian Dehab Seare.
Read more about the course and its impact on custodians on the UWF blog.

TEAM SPOTLIGHT
In March, UW Surplus launched a new office supply ordering program for UW departments. With the program, departments can fill out a form to order office supplies, which are then delivered through Campus Mail on electronic bikes. Available items include pens, staplers, sticky notes and more, although Surplus will also take requests for items not listed on the form.
In recognition of her work setting up the program and more, Becky Ryser has been recognized as the recipient of a 2024 Husky Sustainability Award. Congratulations, Becky!
PARTNER RESOURCES UPDATE
The incredible artists among our employees put on an impromptu, anonymous show at last summer's All-Hands event, and we are excited to announce that their artwork was saved and is now on display at the Training Center. We invite everyone to appreciate the creativity and talent of our colleagues the next time you stop by.
