The Environmental Protection Agency named the UW a regional award winner for the 2021 Food Recovery Challenge. The award is given to the institutions most successful at reducing wasted food.
Moving out The Facilities Administration Building, the University Facilities Building and three of the Facilities annexes are making way for a new Interdisciplinary Engineering Building. The UWF staff now in these locations are moving this spring, with the majority headed to the University District Building next to the UW Tower. To learn more, check out the UWF relocation web page.

UW CareLink is the employee assistance program provided for PEBB benefits-eligible UW employees and their dependents. Initial services are free, and so is the phone call. CareLink is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Husky Prevention & Response, the UW's Title IX online employee course that launched last October, is now a part of every new employee's initial training. The next stage is to ensure that every existing employee also completes the 90-minute online course, and UW Facilities will take part beginning in April. More details to come next month.
