This equipment is located on the UW’s main Seattle campus in the Magnuson Health Sciences Center Building (HSB).

The University of Washington’s Facilities Grounds Maintenance division is pleased to offer this unique natural edge elm slab from the UW’s campus tree salvage project.
This natural edge elm slab measures an average of 15”-wide on the narrowest face inside the bark x 154”-long x 2.25”-thick. It is from a Narrow Leafed Elm, which lived across Mason Road NE from the new Bill and Melinda Gates Center on the University of Washington’s Seattle campus. Cut down in 2015, it was kiln-dried and tests from 7% to 9% MC.
