40628-29 through - 38. 1960s-era dining chairs in Hollywood Regency style. We believe these chairs are by a known designer, but no maker’s mark appears, possibly because of a re-upholstery job done many years ago. Bent wood (possibly teak) with darker wood (possibly mahogany). Very much in the style of Wormley. Two arm chairs available and eight standard dining chairs.
37065-108. Oh, the stories we’re glad this sleeper sofa cannot tell. All that’s missing is a knotty pine coffee table in the shape of a wagon wheel. Measures 7’ x 3’ x 19”H. Bungee cords in photo were put in place to keep bed from shifting during delivery.
We have a few contenders for Best Busted Trophy in the warehouse, but how many people can say they won “4th Lace” [sic] in basketball in 1979? Do you know how hard it is to play basketball while wearing lace?
42097-3. This Baroque-style instrument is looking a little b-roke at the moment—it’s exterior wood in need of some love & attention. All the parts are here for a very nice, rarely-seen instrument to emerge. True fact: Stevie Wonder plays an electric version of the clavichord (called the clavinet) on “Superstition,” so there’s that. Time to get out your woodworking & piano-tuning tools, put on your powdered wig, and roll up your sleeves, Amadeus. Measures 19 x 61 ½ x 32”H.
