How to get to Husky home games

Some 70,000 people will converge at Husky Stadium, so it’s always good to plan ahead and think about alternative ways of getting to the game:

Taking Link light rail to the stadium will put you just minutes away from the excitement. King County Metro also operates a free shuttle service from the Angle Lake light rail station to the Federal Way Park & Ride before and after home games.

Many bus lines will drop you off near the stadium. You can also take advantage of special shuttles from the Eastgate, Houghton, Kingsgate, Redondo Heights and South Kirkland Park & Rides. The Burke-Gilman Trail provides easy access for bicyclists and walkers. Bicyclists can also take advantage of a free bike valet program located at Rainier Vista, which connects the Burke-Gilman Trail to the stadium. Your bike will be secure and overseen by Transportation Services staff while you cheer on the Huskies. The bike valet opens three hours prior to kickoff and closes one hour after the game ends. If you do not re-claim your bike after the game, it will be held by Transportation Services. Please contact Transportation Services at ucommute@uw.edu to retrieve your bike.

The University of Washington has partnered with Lime and JUMP to provide rentable dockless bikes for use on campus. Lime and JUMP currently offer electric-assist bicycles for rent. These bike share bikes are also available throughout Seattle. Students, staff and faculty who sign up for Lime or JUMP with their UW credentials receive 50% off all rides.

Using a ride-sharing service such as Uber or Lyft? The drop-off points are located on Stevens Way at Rainier Vista, a short walk to Husky Stadium.

You can also make arrangements to arrive by boat.

If you have cash, you can pay staff members posted at your chosen lot or garage. To pay by credit card, you must stop at a gatehouse first, before going to a garage or lot. Gatehouses open at 7 a.m.

Public campus parking rates for Husky home games are:

• $30 for carpools (3 or more people)
• $40 for non-carpool automobiles
• $120 for RVs, motorhomes or 5th wheels

Please refer to the UW campus map for a full list of UW parking lots and garages. Note that most lots closest to the stadium are reserved for season parking passes or other official uses.

Single-game parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the following locations:

• E1: ADA parking only
• E2 and N25
• N4 and N5
• Padelford Garage
• Portage Bay Garage (cash only)
• Central Plaza Garage (limited spaces)
• South Campus Garage (S1)
• W12
• UW Tower Garage A and UW Tower Garage B 

Pregame parties are allowed in all lots and garages, but grills are only permitted in surface-area lots. Deep fryers and open flames are prohibited everywhere. (For a full list of prohibited items, see GoHuskies.com.)

Be considerate to your fellow Dawgs. Keep all tailgating activity within designated areas and out of travel lanes or other people’s parking spaces.
