Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) Shuttle

Rider Alert

Due to construction activity at UWMC, as well as increased traffic congestion in the South Lake Union area, adjustments will be made to the SCCA and Pete Gross House shuttle schedules effective Tuesday, August 1.

The SCCA-2 shuttle schedule will begin 10 minutes later, departing at 7:50 a.m. from the SCCA Clinic, with service ending at 7:45 p.m. The SCCA-1 schedule will remain unchanged.

The Pete Gross House shuttle schedule will begin five minutes earlier. However, travel time will increase by 5 minutes. Consequently, the number of runs to the clinic will be reduced from five to four before 8:30 a.m., and from seven to five after 5 p.m.

Changes before 8:30 a.m. will have minimal impact on service, as all runs will connect with shuttles headed to UWMC and Children’s at 7, 7:50 and 8:20 a.m.

Changes after 5 p.m. will result in two fewer runs to the clinic, but will result in a much requested later departure (6:30 p.m.) from the clinic to the hospitals.

UW Shuttles operates Seattle Cancer Care Alliance’s free shuttle service for patients and families between the SCCA clinic on Lake Union, UW Medical Center, Seattle Children’s, and the two housing facilities, SCCA House and Pete Gross House. View schedules on SCCA website for travel between:

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The shuttles do not run on the weekends or on University holidays.
