A new look for UW Facilities website. We’ve added all the content that used to be on the CPD website to facilities.uw.edu, and tucked in a few new features, too. Check out the “popular services” list in our expanded navigation menu and the “What’s New” section on the homepage.

Box cutter safety: check out the new safety tip sheet from UW Safety located here. Protect yourself from injury while using a box cutter, as well as a recommendation for a guarded safety knife. Using cut-resistant gloves any time you are working around sharp materials is important. Using these tips will help keep you healthy and whole!

Did you know?The UW has a Bias Incident Advisory Committee created to address bias at the individual, institutional and systemic levels. The committee offers an online reporting tool for students, staff and academic personnel. The link is used to report incidents of or suspected bias anonymously. Once filed, the report will be reviewed by the UW’s Bias Incident Advisory Committee. Other campus resources include SafeCampus, Samuel E. Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center, Q Center, Office of the Ombud, UWPD, and the University Complaint Investigation and Resolution Office.
