In-Person Shopping Available by Appointment for **Priority Groups Only**
UW Surplus continues to work with our University partners to take the necessary steps to protect and safeguard our community. Safety and well-being is our number one priority.
Starting Thursday, July 9th, the UW Surplus Store will operate under temporary service adjustments to support sales to all priority groups by appointment only (UW Departments, Non-Profits & Government Agencies). Appointments are offered in time blocks of 30 or 60 minutes and may be canceled if necessary. Customers who arrive at the Surplus warehouse without an appointment will be asked to wait if we are serving a client who has scheduled in advance. Wearing face coverings and maintaining 6 feet of space between yourself & others is expected of all visitors to the Surplus warehouse.
New Store Hours for Priority Groups:
Monday: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, by appointment (face covering required)
Thursday: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, by appointment (face covering required)
Face coverings or masks are required indoors for all employees, students, and guests on UW campuses.

The 30 Minute Visit is ideal if you are just picking up one or two things or have a good idea of what you’re looking for. Masks are required. We are looking forward to seeing you!

The 1 hour Visit is perfect if you are picking up multiple items or need a little more time to browse for an item with that je ne sais quoi. Masks are required. We are looking forward to seeing you!

Priority Groups members shopping on behalf of their organization may make appointments to visit the Surplus Store. Employees shopping for themselves are considered members of the Public and may not purchase items at this time.
However, we are happy to announce that we will soon be launching an online store to serve all our community members—including our customers shopping as members of the public. Keep an eye out for more information in the coming weeks.
