Sharing Innovations

The first annual Facilities Services All-Staff Showcase builds on employee developed innovations and success stories by providing an open forum (walkabout) for continuous improvement. All Facilities Services employees are invited to promote and discuss their success stories across the organization during an informal poster session before the annual All-Staff Meeting on Tuesday January 24, 2017. Participants and visitors are invited to walk throughout the auditorium and openly share experiences, ideas and lessons learned . Snacks will be provided. 


Open to all Facilities Services employees, both teams and individuals that have a success story or innovation to share.


Examples of presentations (does this sound like you or someone you know?):

  • A successful and active lean team.
  • Error-reducing procedure changes.
  • Customer success stories about what you do to make people happy.
  • Recently launched lean teams.
  • Work improving 5S success stories.
  • Innovations, inventions or improvements.
  • Cost cutting, value adding, waste removing, etc.
  • Something that makes FS World-Class

All Facilities Services employees and directors. 


Poster or tri-fold templates will be provided to those interested in participating. The FS Strategic Planning team will work with participants on poster design and have them printed before the event. If your showcase item requires electricity we can accomodate that too (just be sure to let us know).
